Le projet régional Politiques économiques pour la justice sociale, en partenariat avec l'Université britannique de Bath - le Réseau de politique sociale dans la région du Moyen-Orient et de l'Afrique du Nord et l'Université canadienne de Western, a organisé un atelier de réflexion centré sur "Le statut de la protection sociale des personnes handicapées en Tunisie".
Il est à noter que cette première rencontre s'inscrit dans le cadre des préparatifs initiaux pour travailler sur un projet communautaire conjoint entre le Réseau des politiques sociales dans la région du Moyen-Orient et de l'Afrique du Nord à l'Université de Bath en Grande-Bretagne et les partenaires actifs concernés pour travailler de manière participative afin de développer des politiques sociales dans le domaine de l'engagement social en faveur des personnes handicapées. en Tunisie.
En fait, l'organisation du laboratoire politique en personne a été une occasion d'apprentissage significative, soulignant l'importance de l'accessibilité et de l'inclusivité. Il a mis en évidence la manière d'accueillir des participants ayant des handicaps et des besoins divers, en garantissant leur participation active.
En outre, dans le cadre de cet atelier, nous avons eu l'occasion de présenter les principales conclusions de l'examen des politiques mené par le professeur Ayssen Makni, qui est un rapport sur la situation des personnes handicapées : Ce rapport complet produit au début du projet a été un atout crucial, fournissant une vue d'ensemble détaillée du cadre juridique, des statistiques et du système de protection sociale concernant les personnes handicapées en Tunisie. Ce rapport a identifié des domaines clés pour le plaidoyer et la réforme, offrant de nombreuses voies pour s'assurer que personne n'est laissé de côté dans la poursuite de l'amélioration du système de protection sociale. FES utilise les résultats clés de ce rapport dans ses campagnes de plaidoyer auprès des décideurs politiques et des IFI.
