Call for Abstracts: Feminist Economics in the MENA Region

Feminist economics is an interdisciplinary field that challenges orthodox economic theories by incorporating a gendered perspective and addressing the role of women and gender relations in economic life. This approach emphasizes the importance of unpaid labor, care work, gender inequality, and social reproduction, areas often overlooked in mainstream economics. By highlighting these aspects, feminist economics seeks to create more inclusive and equitable economic policies and practices.

The Regional project on Economic Policies for Social Justice of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES MENA) is pleased to publish a call for abstracts aimed at bridging the gap in literature in the field of Feminist Economics and its interaction with various aspects.
