As part of its awareness-raising caravan activities, CARISM (Comité d'Action et de Réflexion Intersyndicale sur la Migration) has carried out several awareness-raising campaigns among Guinean and Malian communities settled in Senegal, on the theme of "the health of female migrant workers, a priority for CARISM".

The aim of these awareness-raising caravans is to enroll 200 female migrant workers in the CMU (Couverture Maladie Universelle - Universal Health Coverage) scheme, which allows them to contribute only 25% of the cost of health services in public health facilities, with the remainder covered by the Senegalese government.

These actions consisted in presenting the State of Senegal's health program and its advantages, which are also accessible to the migrant community established in the country.
