The FES Regional trade Union project, together with the Trade Union confederations from Bahrain and Oman, organized a three days training for female trade unionist from the two countries. This training, which took place in April in Manama/Bahrain was the second training out of three which the FES is organizing together with the women committees of the confederations in Oman and Bahrain. The aim of the joint project is to build capacity for women trade unionist from Oman and Bahrain and establish new trade union leaders. The training on communication and self-perception helped the participants to enhance their capacity in communication, working in group, building self-confidence and conflict management. These skills are important to be able to work as unionist and to organize and mobilize.

At the end of the training, participants agreed to do researches on violation against women rights at work place as well to reach out other female workers to join union`s work. They will be presented at the next training in October 2017 in Oman.
